Guitar tuition in Bristol
My Bristol based Guitar lessons cover all ages, from total beginners through to intermediate and advanced levels, and I always cater to the needs of the individual. I believe learning an instrument should be fun. You can learn using an electric, acoustic steel string, classical nylon string or bass guitar. Right and left-handed students are equally welcome.
I appreciate and enjoy teaching many different styles, including:
Rock, Blues, Folk, Jazz, Classical, Pop, Funk, Country, Heavy Metal, Reggae and even Flamenco.
If you are a complete beginner, I am confident I will have you playing some of your favourite songs within just a few lessons. Example pieces include The Beatles "Hey Jude", AC/DC's "Back in Black" or even "Forget you" by Cee-lo green...
I try to choose songs based on the tastes of each individual student.
For younger students (7 -11 yrs), I often begin by showing them the notes on the fretboard and then learning the "black dots" through fun melodies such as "Star Wars", "The Harry Potter theme" or "The Simpson's theme".
